When looking at the perfection of ornaments, the harmony and technique, it seems that the loom is one of the most typical artistic achievements of the creative gift of our people. In the direction of this creative activity, and at the same time following the orthodox Slavic-Byzantine tradition, the nuns from our atelier, on two sorts of loom (horizontal and vertical), weave: rugs and bags from pure wool, which they themselves paint with natural colours obtained from various sorts of leaves, peels, roots and fruits.
The nuns also weave priest vestments of silk and cotton with byzantine decorations.
